In order to rid yourself of those white spots, you should use something acidic to break down the build up of minerals.
Natural Solutions to Water Spots
For light water spots, you can make a cheap vinegar solution. Simply purchase white vinegar from the store and have a 50/50 solution with water. Place the mix in a spray bottle and spray directly onto your water spots. Only use white vinegar for this solution, other vinegars are not effective.
